Anxiety and overwhelm are among the most common — and most under-discussed — experiences in the modern workplace. When left unaddressed, they erode concentration, decision-making, and interpersonal effectiveness, and significantly increase the risk of burnout and psychological harm.
This evidence-based session introduces employees to the neuroscience of anxiety and the feeling of being overwhelmed, and equips them with practical mind-body techniques for interrupting and regulating these states in real time. Drawing on cognitive, behavioural, and somatic frameworks, participants leave with an accessible toolkit they can apply immediately — at their desk, before a difficult conversation, or during periods of sustained pressure. Designed for general office-based teams, this 90-minute session normalises the experience of workplace anxiety without pathologising it and is suitable for all employees regardless of prior experience with wellbeing or mental health topics.

Participants receive a professionally designed PDF handout including key reference content from the session and a personal planning template for applying what they've learned. Designed to be used during the workshop and kept as a practical resource afterwards.
