Every workplace interaction is a success or failure based on the inputs of the participants. Often, it is easier to reflect on the inputs of other participants which we do not control than our own, which we can. Understanding our own behavioural and communication preferences along with our emotional responses can significantly improve the effectiveness of our communications with others, reduce conflict and stress and improve our working relationships.
This workshop equips participants with a sound knowledge of their behavioural and communication preferences, emotional awareness and regulation and encourages them to reflect on the impact this may have on their interactions in the workplace. Participants will develop strategies to improve communication effectiveness and wellbeing to improve resilience to workplace conflict or pressures.
Graduates and employees seeking to improve their own and others' workplace experiences.
Participant handouts containing key concepts, tools and templates.
An open mind and a pen.
