About the facilitator
Sharlie Morrison understands that creating respectful, inclusive workplaces requires more than policies and compliance. Throughout her career, she has led inclusive cultural change initiatives across large, high-risk manufacturing operations and complex project environments, improving workplace culture, safety, innovation, productivity and organisational resilience. The practical realities of implementing change in these environments inform everything she designs, facilitates and coaches.
Throughout her multidisciplinary career, Sharlie has developed deep expertise in respectful workplaces, diversity and inclusion, leadership development and psychosocial health. She is recognised for her practical application of Australian workplace legislation, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2020, associated Regulations and the Code of Practice: Managing Psychosocial Hazards at Work. Combining evidence-based practice with real-world experience, she helps organisations translate legislative obligations into practical behaviours that strengthen culture, reduce psychosocial risk and build safer, more inclusive workplaces.
Sharlie works with organisations across both the public and private sectors to design and deliver respectful workplace, leadership and psychosocial capability programs. Her experience spans strategy development, tactical implementation, leadership coaching, trauma-informed approaches to psychosocial incident investigations and work design. She also provides follow-up coaching and targeted capability development to address the outcomes of psychosocial incident investigations, helping organisations embed learning, strengthen leadership capability and achieve sustainable behavioural change. Whether working with frontline employees, leaders or executive teams, she equips participants with practical skills and confidence that create meaningful and lasting cultural change.
What sets Sharlie apart is her ability to connect with diverse audiences and create psychologically safe learning environments where people feel confident to engage in conversations that are often challenging. Her facilitation is practical, engaging and evidence-based, ensuring participants leave with strategies they can immediately apply to create more respectful, inclusive and resilient workplaces.
