Building a high performing team takes some deliberate focus and energy on the part of the leader. But what to focus on and where to spend your energy? This workshop is very practical as participants will directly apply models of high performing teams and team dysfunctions immediately to their team and determine the most appropriate leadership response to shift their team from where they are now to where they aspire to be, including a toolkit and action steps to apply back at work.
This session explores the stages of team development, including the unique dynamics of hybrid teams, and examines the key elements of a high-performing team based on Lencioni’s model. Participants will develop an understanding of the role trust and psychological safety play in building strong, collaborative teams, as well as how conflict can impact team performance and effectiveness.
The program also focuses on creating the right culture for learning, accountability, and sustained performance. Participants will work through practical leadership strategies and action planning techniques designed to help teams shift towards higher performance and stronger workplace outcomes.
Team leaders, managers and influential team members aspiring to create a great team. New teams coming together to learn how to set themselves up for success. Teams that might need a reset after changes or disruption.
A workbook with the key tools and models will be provided
