Conflict is an inevitable part of working with others, but when managed effectively, it can strengthen relationships, improve collaboration and drive better workplace outcomes. This practical and interactive workshop equips participants with the skills, confidence and strategies to recognise, manage and resolve workplace conflict in a constructive, respectful and solution-focused way. Participants will explore the common causes of conflict, identify their own conflict management style and understand how emotions, communication and differing perspectives influence workplace interactions. Through practical exercises, realistic workplace scenarios and facilitated discussions, learners will develop active listening, questioning, negotiation and problem-solving skills to confidently manage difficult conversations and resolve disagreements before they escalate. The workshop also focuses on building emotional intelligence, fostering mutual respect and creating positive working relationships that support collaboration and high performance. By the end of the workshop, participants will have practical tools and a personal action plan to proactively manage conflict, strengthen workplace relationships and foster a more collaborative, respectful and productive working environment.
