Every professional operates within a web of stakeholders, the people whose support, engagement, or sign-off can make or break their work. Yet few people invest in systematically managing those relationships, often defaulting to ad hoc communication when things go wrong.
This half-day workshop introduces participants to the essentials of stakeholder management. Rather than covering every dimension of organisational influence and politics, this session focuses on the fundamentals: how to identify and prioritise your key stakeholders, how to understand what matters to them, and how to build a straightforward approach to keeping those relationships productive.
Participants leave with a practical stakeholder map and a targeted communication strategy they can begin applying immediately, not a complex system, but a clear and usable foundation for better stakeholder engagement.
This half-day workshop is well suited to:
- Project leaders and team leads managing cross-functional or cross-organisational work
- Professionals who frequently need buy-in, approval, or collaboration from others
- Emerging leaders beginning to navigate more complex stakeholder environments
- Anyone who finds stakeholder communication reactive rather than strategic
Particularly valuable for those managing projects or change initiatives where stakeholder alignment is critical to success.
Stakeholder Mapping Template (a visual tool for identifying, categorising, and prioritising key stakeholders)
