90 minutes
Workplace conflict is inevitable. Unresolved, it erodes trust, drains energy, and quietly undermines even the most capable teams. Yet many people struggle to address conflict directly, defaulting to avoidance, or escalating before attempting resolution.
This punchy 90-minute session gives participants a focused introduction to resolving conflict constructively. Rather than a comprehensive deep-dive into all aspects of conflict dynamics, this short workshop concentrates on the essentials: how to recognise what's really driving a conflict, how to engage the other party productively, and how to move toward resolution without letting the situation deteriorate further.
Participants walk away with a concrete process they can apply immediately, whether facing a simmering tension or a conflict that's already come to a head.
Team leaders and managers navigating interpersonal tensions within their teams
Professionals who find themselves caught in ongoing disagreements or friction with colleagues
Emerging leaders developing the confidence to address conflict rather than avoid it
HR professionals or team leads who want a refresher on resolution fundamentals
Ideal for those who want a practical, no-nonsense approach rather than an in-depth exploration of conflict theory
Conflict Resolution Quick Reference (a step-by-step process for moving from tension to resolution)
De-escalation Language Guide (specific phrases to use — and avoid — in heated conversations)
A current or recent workplace conflict you'd like to think through (used for a brief reflection activity)
