Stepping into leadership for the first time is both exciting and disorienting. The behaviours that earned someone the promotion are rarely the behaviours that make them effective once they get there. New leaders have to manage relationships, hold accountability, and build credibility while adapting to responsibility they have not carried before. This practical workshop gives emerging leaders the mindset, communication skills, and leadership foundations to step into the role with confidence and to start noticing the conditions that either support or undermine their team.
Emerging leaders moving into their first formal leadership role, recently promoted team leads, and high-potential individual contributors being prepared for leadership. Equally relevant for technical specialists, professional services staff, and operational leads taking on people responsibility for the first time
Participant workbook, leadership self-assessment, delegation and feedback frameworks, and a personal development plan template
