It’s no surprise that as our world changes, we face many work and personal challenges. As such, it’s now more important than ever that if we hope to embrace change in an organization, we need to achieve and maintain, high-level mental wellbeing.
This includes having an ability to cope with the normal stresses of life.
In this workshop we’ll examine how stress can negatively impact on our psychological, emotional and physical health, making us highly susceptible to exhaustion and burnout.
We’ll look at how stress works and learn how to keep the stress response in check, all the while increasing our emotional intelligence and super-charging our overall success at work.
We’ll identify personal risk factors that may weigh into the ‘demand mix’ and examine self-help tools that are most appropriate for different situations.
We’ll build our resources to cope.
Do any of these statements ring true for you?
• “I’m having difficulty concentrating and making decisions.”
• “I’m often irritable and find it hard to relax.”
• “I never seem to have enough time to get things done and feel overwhelmed.”
• “I’m getting lots of headaches and feel generally run down these days.”
• “I’m finding it hard to get to sleep, which is making me anxious.”
• “I’m using alcohol to help me relax.”
