    Professional background

    Alex’s expertise as an executive coach and leadership development consultant is complemented by his extensive experience in leadership roles as a director, general manager and marketing manager in a large, multinational insurance company. His diverse background as a lawyer, an international tax consultant, and a corporate executive has given him a wide range of experience and perspectives. This hands-on experience provides his clients with the assurance that he can relate to and empathise with their challenges as well as share relevant stories, models and techniques to support, guide and assist them.

    Alex’s leadership journey included being a member of a high-level team responsible for developing and implementing strategies for growth, customer retention and service excellence, whilst also identifying and developing talent management and succession planning strategies. This holistic experience has helped shape his underlying belief in importance of combining the science of management with the art of leadership.

    He has extensive experience delivering executive coaching, facilitated workshops and team interventions across a diverse range of industries including insurance, finance, banking, law, mining, health, education, retail, hospitality and government.

    Alex has developed a “4A Coaching Model” – Awareness; Accountability; Action and Achievement. He helps his coachees align their goals with their personal values and he strives to use an appropriate balance of challenge and support.
