    Guy is a practical, outcome focused business leader with Australian and international experience. Guy started providing consulting, coaching and mentoring services focusing on facilitating and supporting organisations (across a range of industries in both the private and public sectors) with the development and execution of their business strategies, with reviewing, realigning and re-focusing their business operating models on their strategic objectives, and with coaching, mentoring and supporting leaders and business owners with their ongoing development, growth and change.

    Coaching process

    Guy’s coaching process is tailored to each individual leader’s needs. Coaching engagements can be short term arrangements aimed at addressing a specific issue or longer-term arrangements aimed at strengthening broad leadership capabilities. Guy’s coaching process typically follows the following steps: 

    1. Understanding the individual’s specific goals, needs and the scope of the support required. 
    2. Identifying and agreeing strengths and areas where greater development is required. 
    3. Discussing real scenarios that are challenging and stymieing progress and what could lie behind this. 
    4. Discussing and agreeing priorities for improvement and/or where quick wins are possible to build confidence and momentum.
    5. Role playing new alternative approaches in a safe environment. 
    6. Trying alternative approaches in the real world. 
    7. Reviewing what works and why and what doesn’t work and why. While many of Guy’s coaching engagements move to ad hoc sounding board conversations after 6 – 12 months, his ultimate goal for each engagement is to get each individual leader to the stage where they have the right processes and skills that enable accurate self-reflection and the confidence to work through the most complex scenarios themselves.

This can range from owners of start-ups, small to medium businesses, right through to managers and leaders of large scale, complex organisations in the private or public sector.
