This session:
Explores the science behind self-compassion and the benefits it can bring to body, mind, relationships, and performance at work, particularly in relation to being a leader.
Learn the science behind self-compassion and how it enhances resilience, emotional intelligence, and leadership effectiveness. Participants explore the science-backed components of self-compassion, including practical examples of how to easily cultivate self-compassion in daily life. Leave with personalised strategies to have a more compassionate view of yourself, manage self-criticism, prevent burnout, and lead with confidence and authenticity.

About the facilitator
Ruth Kent is an award-winning health and performance coach, consultant and facilitator in the workplace wellbeing space.
She provides tailored programs and workshops in health, wellbeing, and performance using coaching methodology for long-term behaviour change for both teams and leadership and was the recipient of the Business Achievement Award in the 2025 Health Coaches Australia and New Zealand (HCANZA) Business Achievement Awards.
She has a unique focus on the evidence-based principles behind health and wellbeing, and the human-centred skills needed to thrive in the modern world.
