While many organisations throughout the world have placed a focus and expected actions around making workplace psychologically safe for cooperation, ideation and collaborative teams, Australia now has workplace health a safety legislatio that makes this focus mandatory.
In this workshop, we will focus on the actions to we cans take to manage WHS hazards specific to psychosocial issues:
job demands
low job control
poor support
lack of role clarity
poor organisational change management
inadequate reward and recognition
poor organisational justice
traumatic events or material
remote or isolated work
poor physical environment
violence and aggression
bullying
harassment, including sexual harassment, and
conflict or poor workplace relationships
We will explore the interactions, the actions, behaviours and mindsets needed to avoid risks, we will also explore the benefits from investing time in building and maintaining a psychologically safe team and environment.
This workshop is for all levels of an organisations committed to creating and maintaining psychologically safe workplaces.
