Overview
With many of our learning, social and workplace environments designed to favour the preferences of extroverts, the power of introversion to create highly diverse teams remains untapped. In this half-day workshop we will cover the differences in needs and behaviours of those with an introverted preference; we will try out hands-on tools to leverage the advantages of preference diversity within teams and set flex micro-goals to authentically thrive as an introvert and leads others to do so as well.

Who is this workshop for
Anyone who thinks they may have a strong preference for introversion or who is an extrovert and leads introverts; a Myers-Brigges Typing tool will be used in this session. Additional participants above 15 will cost $45.00 per person for this tool.
Handouts/materials provided
Handouts will be provided as well as a hand-scored MBTI assessment.
What to bring
Please bring an open and curious mind as well as your note-taking tool of choice.

About the facilitator
With 20+ years of lived experience as a manager and leader with some of the globe’s largest international organisations, Suzy applies her real-world, award-winning experience to support the learning journeys of others through coaching, instructional design, facilitation and digital learning technologies.
Her accomplishments in the areas of product development, team and project leadership, change management, distribution, marketing communications and organisational development capability strategy have provided her with a rich blend of insight on how to meet the unique development needs of each participant.
Her qualifications include: Bachelor of Arts, University of South Alabama; Graduate Certificate eCommerce and Web Design (Georgia Tech); Advanced Diploma of Management; Diploma of Professional Coaching; Certificate IV TAE16; Fellow Australian Institute of Management, Professionally Certified Coach. She is currently completing her Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology.
She has successfully led Learning and Development/OD projects in many diverse sectors including: WA Police, BHP Iron Ore, Bankwest, Verizon Wireless (US), City of Karratha, Sime-Darby (Malaysia), City of Swan, Pawsey Supercomputing, INPEX, City of Albany, West Coast Eagles, Telethon Kids, ECU, Curtin, AT&T (US), Synergy, WA Health Support Services, Perth Transport Authority and City of Perth.
Suzy understands that every situation requires unique tools and learning experiences and is certified in diagnostics such as Myers-Briggs Step 1 and 2 (MBTI); Belbin Team Roles, EQi 2.0: Individual, Leadership and 360; Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI), Centre for Creative Leadership Benchmarks and Skillscope; California Psychological Instrument (CPI). Additionally, she has been designing digital learning solutions to support blended learning for over 10 years using tools such Adobe Captivate, Camtasia (certified), Articulate Suite (Storyline3 + Rise) and Adobe Illustrator.
