As a qualified mechanical engineer, he holds an MBA, Master Black Belt certification (one of the first Black Belts outside of Motorola), and is a Certified Lean Practitioner and Theory of Constraints Jonah.
Throughout his career, Phil has successfully led and facilitated numerous deployments, including comprehensive staff training and coaching initiatives. Notably, he has spearheaded multiple Operating System Deployments, both in RSA and Australia, encompassing production leadership, maintenance, and shutdown teams. Under his guidance, these deployments have consistently achieved remarkable results, with his latest project elevating an Operational Excellence score from 20 to 31 within a span of just 7 months
