This workshop equips participants with practical skills, tools and models to bring out the best in teams. The workshop has three areas of focus – managing self, managing people and managing tasks, and it culminates in giving participants insight into the importance of integrating all three aspects into a holistic and synergistic approach to managing.
The 2 day version of this workshop is comprehensive and will cover the full range of topics listed below. As such, the full 2 day workshop is more likely to suit new or inexperienced managers who would benefit from a comprehensive management toolkit.
Should the organisation only need focus on particular areas, the workshop can easily be adapted accordingly. It can be facilitated as a 1 day program or even a series of shorter workshops addressing the topics most relevant to the group of participants. This gives the organisation the opportunity to group participants with common challenges and similar experience and ensures that the content is relevant, compelling and impactful.. A needs analysis and performance evaluations are useful mechanisms for identifying appropriate participant groups.
The objective of this flexible offering is to ensure that the participants emerge from the program with the skills, models, techniques and confidence to fill a gap in their current leadership effectiveness or provide a timely reminder about how best to manage self, others and tasks.
Supervisors, team leaders, middle managers, general managers.
Handouts containing useful models, tools and techniques.
