Denis migrated to Perth, in Western Australia, from Canada in the mid 90’s. He managed to turn his passion for adventure sports and rock climbing into a career and a legacy. Through a series of fortunate events and encounters, challenges, sacrifices, and hard work Denis quickly worked his way up in the Industrial Rope Access industry in Western Australia. After many years working throughout Australia and the globe on high-risk and high profile projects in often challenging situations Denis embarked on an entrepreneurial journey that changed an industry and many lives along with it.

The journey began with an unrelenting belief that things could be done better, safer and more effectively than what the industry and workforce had become accustomed to. The company was built through a strong belief in people, leadership, culture and strong core values, which quickly created a healthy thriving organisation.
This belief created a movement and cultivated an industry leading company culture which transformed groups of individuals into ultra-high performing teams who successfully delivered and safely executed some of the highest profile, technically challenging high-risk projects carried out in Australia at the time.
Denis sold Vertech in 2012 and embarked on a journey of self-discovery, growth and transformation, sharing his passion for people, safety and culture along with the lessons learned from his experiences in order to inspire others to do the same.
Through his passion for safety, leadership and culture transformation, he built programs to help develop people and organisations. Denis focuses on partnering and supporting organisations, people and teams to challenge the way they approach safety on multiple levels.
