Safety and Health Committees are an essential part of the formal consultative processes in the workplace that provide a forum for employers and representatives of employees to regularly discuss, review and make recommendations on safety and health issues.
They bring management and employee representatives together in a planned, structured and focused way, providing a means for initiating, developing, and implementing measures designed to ensure the safety and health of employees.
