Grief is an overwhelming emotion and a normal process of reacting to a loss. The loss may be physical (such as a death), social (such as divorce), or occupational (such as a job). Emotional reactions of grief can include anger, guilt, anxiety, sadness, and despair. Physical reactions of grief can include sleeping issues, changes in appetite, physical problems, or illness.
Understanding grief and loss and the emotions associated, you can feel more empowered to recover and feel confident you can move through grief. While you may be confronted with a lot of sorrow you can feel confident that this is a natural progression toward recover. The journey of grief can be difficult but using these simple strategies in the workshop you will be more empowered to feel better and able to support others in their recovery to feeling at peace.
This workshop can be adapted to support the requirements of the organisation in both time and content.

Karen holds qualifications and registrations in counselling and is a master practitioner in neuro-linguistic programming. Her workshops are suitable for any organisation or individual looking to develop awareness around mental health and wellbeing, addiction and family cohesion.
