Overview
There's not a single presenter in the world that wants to be the one who makes everyone fall asleep, snigger under their breath or walk away warning others not to waste their time with you... say no to any more Death by Powerpoint, and make your presentations the kind that inspire, motivate, engage, and have your audience walking away raving about how much they learnt working with you!
Do you know how to keep your audience engaged?
Do you want to inspire and motivate your clients to get the outcomes you know they're capable of?
Do you want learn how to use engaging visual tools that enhance rather than distract listeners from what you are saying?
Are you lacking confidence in your delivery techniques?
Do you want to make sure your clients are interacting with you and your content and taking action thanks to what they've learnt?
If the answer is yes to any of these questions, then this workshop will give you the skills you need to hone your the Structure and Visual Aids you use when you present, and the delivery and facilitation skills you employ to make sure the learning is as effective as possible.
After doing the short online course that is provided free of charge to participants before the workshop, it is expected that the participants will apply what they have learnt to improving or creating their presentation to the best of their ability. During the workshop participants will deliver a portion of their presentation, and will be critiqued on the structure, visual aids and delivery techniques. They will then have time to make adjustments and deliver the same, or a different portion a second time, for a second round critique.

Who is this workshop for
Anyone who needs to deliver information to an adult audience, in a presentation, webinar, tutorial or lesson.
Anyone who is an expert in their field but not necessary a born entertainer, presenter or trained facilitator for adult learning.
Anyone who is NOT confident in their presenting skills and know they're ready for some up-skilling in this area.

About the facilitator
Maria Doyle helps organisations, professionals and industry leaders systemise, optimise and digitalise their expertise into content appropriate for group learning like online courses, presentations and workshops. She helps them create quality learning experiences that engage, inspire and motivate the learners they're intended for; thereby achieving the aims and objectives the learning materials are designed for.
These learning experiences can include induction processes, in-house productivity training, career pathway and succession planning materials. If there's knowledge in your organisation that needs to be extracted, systemised and optimised for face to face or online delivery, Maria can help you create a plan to make that happen efficiently and effectively.
Until April 2012, she was working as the Senior ESL Education Manager on the AusAID funded TVET Sector Strengthening Project in Kiribati; a project that took vocational education and training, and long overdue teacher training, to a remote Pacific country.
Since 2012 she has been working with a variety of corporate, government and private organisations, designing, developing and evaluating learning materials and education packages.
Most recently, she has been working in the capacity of Online Learning Specialist, for the DFAT funded ‘School Leaders Learning and Development Program’ managed by Sustainable Skills, based in Suva, Fiji.
Nothing lights her up more than teaching, learning, travelling and helping others be better at what they do.Â
