Do you want to create highly effective learning products that work, the first time?
You may be a professional, a coach or an expert in your field but it doesn't necessarily mean that you feel confident as a teacher in adult learning environments. If you don't have teaching qualifications, and you're not REALLY sure how to pull off a learning experience that wows your clients, you'll want to feel confident knowing there's a framework to follow so your content will always have maximum impact.
This is a practical, hands on workshop where you will be focusing on a particular Learning Resource that you need to create or update; it could be a presentation, workshop, tutorial, online course, book or training manual.
Subject matter experts who need to deliver engaging presentations, workshops or tutorials.
HR and L&D professionals who do not have formal qualifications or training.
Workbook to complete during the workshop. Participants will be advised to focus on a particular 'Learning Resource' (presentation, course, training manual) they need to create or update, and will leave the workshop with:
--Learning Resource Outline
--Content and Task Planner (with one completed module outline).
--Presentation Template (customised for their presentation).
--Feedback and Evaluation Tools
Maria Doyle helps organisations, professionals and industry leaders systemise, optimise and digitalise their expertise into content appropriate for group learning like online courses, presentations and workshops. She helps them create quality learning experiences that engage, inspire and motivate the learners they're intended for; thereby achieving the aims and objectives the learning materials are designed for.
These learning experiences can include induction processes, in-house productivity training, career pathway and succession planning materials. If there's knowledge in your organisation that needs to be extracted, systemised and optimised for face to face or online delivery, Maria can help you create a plan to make that happen efficiently and effectively.
Until April 2012, she was working as the Senior ESL Education Manager on the AusAID funded TVET Sector Strengthening Project in Kiribati; a project that took vocational education and training, and long overdue teacher training, to a remote Pacific country.
Since 2012 she has been working with a variety of corporate, government and private organisations, designing, developing and evaluating learning materials and education packages.
Most recently, she has been working in the capacity of Online Learning Specialist, for the DFAT funded ‘School Leaders Learning and Development Program’ managed by Sustainable Skills, based in Suva, Fiji.
Nothing lights her up more than teaching, learning, travelling and helping others be better at what they do.Â
If you’re an organisation, practitioner or a subject matter expert in your field, there’s a fair chance you have a wealth of knowledge that you use regularly with clients or colleagues face to face – and now you’re seeing the need to get that content online. Either you need to deliver live, online, what you’d […]
This new online learning explosion; awesome, isn’t it? The ability to learn anything, at any time. A heavenly new combination of accessibility, few regulations, and an abundance of information – put all your IP online! Make everything digital! Get your induction procedure online! Throw a few quizzes in, and record yourself speaking for a few hours, […]
More and more so, organisations and professionals are seeing the benefits of digitalising their intellectual property (IP) – professionals want a bank of knowledge online so they don’t have to keep recreating the wheel for each client, and organisations want the same thing for their induction materials, on-boarding procedures, professional development sessions, workplace training and […]
If you’re delivering professional development or training to adults, you’ll want to make sure it’s going to work effectively for all your learners – if you don’t have extensive experience or qualifications in education and training, you may be a bit confused about learning styles and whether you should still be trying to cater for […]
You hire a training professional usually because your organisation is seeking some kind of professional development; considering that recent Gallup data from the U.S. indicates that on average, only 32% of staff are engaged, 51% are unengaged, and 17% are actively disengaged, it would stand to reason that getting the right training professional on board […]
