This workshop is intended for an organisation that has identified a need for digitalisation or systemisation of knowledge and IP within their organisation.
This may include induction and onboarding processes, specialised skillsets, or knowledge that will be lost if an individual leaves the organisation.
Possible outputs of this knowledge may include online or face to face materials, depending on the needs of the organisation.
Throughout the workshop, the Learning Product specifications will be discussed and a collaborative plan will be developed which includes specifying:
--identified issues and intended outcomes,
--target audience and intended outcome of the Learning Product
--intended delivery method and platform (learning management platform or system)
--visual aids, including but not limited to presentations, course work, workbooks or other physical resources to be used by the participants in the learning experience,
--assessments or action based learning records,
--intended communication and interaction with colleagues or managers,
--collaborative approach to review mechanisms.
This is a consultative workshop which consists of a half or full day session with key stakeholders, and the building of a project plan report (Learning Product Development Plan) including estimated budget, suggested contractors and anticipated time-line for delivery. This report will be delivered within 48 hours of the initial workshop.
Organisations who have identified a need for internal knowledge and expertise to be systemised, optimised for delivery and digitalised if necessary.
Full Learning Development Plan Workbook and report proforma. Report will be delivered within 48 hours of the in-house session being completed.
Maria Doyle helps organisations, professionals and industry leaders systemise, optimise and digitalise their expertise into content appropriate for group learning like online courses, presentations and workshops. She helps them create quality learning experiences that engage, inspire and motivate the learners they're intended for; thereby achieving the aims and objectives the learning materials are designed for.
These learning experiences can include induction processes, in-house productivity training, career pathway and succession planning materials. If there's knowledge in your organisation that needs to be extracted, systemised and optimised for face to face or online delivery, Maria can help you create a plan to make that happen efficiently and effectively.
Until April 2012, she was working as the Senior ESL Education Manager on the AusAID funded TVET Sector Strengthening Project in Kiribati; a project that took vocational education and training, and long overdue teacher training, to a remote Pacific country.
Since 2012 she has been working with a variety of corporate, government and private organisations, designing, developing and evaluating learning materials and education packages.
Most recently, she has been working in the capacity of Online Learning Specialist, for the DFAT funded ‘School Leaders Learning and Development Program’ managed by Sustainable Skills, based in Suva, Fiji.
Nothing lights her up more than teaching, learning, travelling and helping others be better at what they do.Â
If you’re an organisation, practitioner or a subject matter expert in your field, there’s a fair chance you have a wealth of knowledge that you use regularly with clients or colleagues face to face – and now you’re seeing the need to get that content online. Either you need to deliver live, online, what you’d […]
This new online learning explosion; awesome, isn’t it? The ability to learn anything, at any time. A heavenly new combination of accessibility, few regulations, and an abundance of information – put all your IP online! Make everything digital! Get your induction procedure online! Throw a few quizzes in, and record yourself speaking for a few hours, […]
More and more so, organisations and professionals are seeing the benefits of digitalising their intellectual property (IP) – professionals want a bank of knowledge online so they don’t have to keep recreating the wheel for each client, and organisations want the same thing for their induction materials, on-boarding procedures, professional development sessions, workplace training and […]
If you’re delivering professional development or training to adults, you’ll want to make sure it’s going to work effectively for all your learners – if you don’t have extensive experience or qualifications in education and training, you may be a bit confused about learning styles and whether you should still be trying to cater for […]
You hire a training professional usually because your organisation is seeking some kind of professional development; considering that recent Gallup data from the U.S. indicates that on average, only 32% of staff are engaged, 51% are unengaged, and 17% are actively disengaged, it would stand to reason that getting the right training professional on board […]
