About the facilitator
Lauren Hancock is a Psychologist with 20 years of experience as a coach, therapist and facilitator. Across her career, she has provided interventions to individuals and groups throughout Australia and internationally.
Trained as a therapist, Lauren now works exclusively with organisations providing programs in the areas of leadership and mental health. She writes and delivers workshops ranging from half a day to six days in duration and has curated multiple residential programs. All have a strong focus on evidence based approaches and assisting participants to understand why people behave the way they do.
As a coach, Lauren assist leaders to develop both the intrapersonal and interpersonal factors that contribute to great leadership. She believes that improving self-awareness and better managing mental health variables are fundamental skills for leaders. She assists leaders to show up as the best version of themselves through employing a range of psychological approaches and techniques. Lauren has multiple ongoing coaching clients, some of whom she has worked with for several years, as they are promoted and move organisations.
Lauren holds these qualifications: Graduate: Company Director Course (AICD); Master of Psychology (Counselling Psychology); Bachelor of Psychology (Graduate); Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAA40104). Lauren is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Lauren has worked with clients from a range of sectors providing leadership and mental wellbeing programs. In the resources and related services sector these clients have included Woodside Energy, BHP, Fluor, Rio Tinto, Chevron, Gold Fields, INPEX, Shell, Alcoa, De Grey Mining, Speno International, Micromine, Westrac and Monadelphous. Lauren has also provided programs for a number of local governments including City of Joondalup, City of Rockingham, City of Perth, City of Bayswater, City of Canning, Shire of Ashburton, City of Karratha, Town of Victoria Park and City of Swan. She has worked with government departments including the Department of Defence, NOPTA, WA Department of Health, WA Department of Justice and Keystart. Other health related clients have included WAGPET, Australasian College for Emergency Medicine, IPN Medical Centres, Amherst Psychology, Healthy Mind Menu and Pioneer Health Albany.
