About the facilitator
For more than 20 years, Karen Schwenke has been positively assisting leaders and their teams in planning for, implementing, and analysing change. An experienced leadership development practitioner, Karen supports leaders to drive performance in their organisations through strategy development, employee engagement, organisational design, quality and risk management, and process development.
Karen’s career commenced in hospitals, with a team of over 50 staff reporting to her, fueling her passion to help others develop their leadership skills and to support organisations to improve their processes. Karen’s achievements in management consulting and development, business process improvement, change management, and human resources provide her with a varied and rich background of expertise to draw from. She applies her lived experience, industry insights and broad qualifications to support leaders, both in groups and individually, and propel successful organisational change. Enriching her expertise, Karen has worked with diverse sectors within both the public and the private realms alike, including Mining, Oil and Gas, Transportation, Healthcare, Construction, and Federal, State and Local Government.
Her qualifications include Master of Commerce, Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Development, and BSc (Nursing).
Karen holds accreditation in MBTI Certification, Genos EI Certification, Cert IV Training and Assessment TAE 40016, LSI Accredited Practitioner, Lead Auditor Training in Quality Management Systems (ISO), Certificate IV in Quality Management Assessment, Facilitator – Process Redesign.
