Values shape how people make decisions, respond under pressure and work with others. Yet, many teams have values that are unclear, assumed or written down but rarely used.
This half-day Values Discovery workshop helps individuals and teams clarify what genuinely matters to them and translate that into a shared set of team values they can actually use.
The session combines structured individual reflection with facilitated team discussion. Participants first identify their own core values then explore patterns and differences across the group. From there, the team works together to define a small number of shared values described in plain language and grounded in real behaviour.
The workshop is highly interactive, reflective and practical. It creates space for thoughtful conversation while keeping a clear focus on outcomes the team can take forward into their day-to-day work.
This workshop is suitable for teams who want greater clarity, alignment and consistency in how they work together.
It is particularly useful for teams who are:
- Experiencing growth, change or shifting expectations
- Wanting to strengthen team culture and ways of working
- Looking to move beyond generic values statements that never get used
- Seeking a shared reference point for decisions and behaviour
No prior knowledge or preparation is required.
- Individual values discovery workbook for each participant
- Facilitated exercises and reflection prompts
- Team values capture and summary (shared during the session)
- Openness to reflection and discussion
- Willingness to listen to different perspectives
- A focus on how the team wants to work going forward
