About the facilitator
Samantha is a process improvement specialist and coach with experience in multiple industries, including finance and mining. With a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Bachelor of Technology from Swinburne University, Sam has the unique ability to improve business processes to be ready for future technologies.
Sam's strengths lie in her ability to coach and facilitate other employees through their own improvement processes. Bringing forward the needs of the customer and the business into every aspect of an improvement project. Sam has also led operational excellence programs for Bankwest and Keystart, resulting in national rewards and recognition for teams. This has been done through the implementation of business improvement practices and training of subject matter experts across the business.
As someone who has been exposed to several project methodologies, such as Agile and Design Thinking, Sam has a wide range of tools that she can use to assist with any problem solving or delivering a project. Her passion for facilitation and communicating with others comes through with how improvements are delivered into the business. She has been involved in managing organisations' operating rhythm and prioritising business-wide initiatives through facilitated workshops.
She has implemented large-scale improvement projects across multiple divisions within larger organisations. This has included end to end process improvement projects for home loan and business banking, knowledge management systems, Government approval processes and renewable energy manufacturing. With a keen eye for risk and governance in delivery of projects she can ensure safe delivery and ongoing success of improvements.
