Overview
Managing health and safety within your business is as much a part of running a business as is finance, marketing and sales.
Achieving and maintaining a healthy and safe workplace is critical for businesses to survive and succeed. A healthy and safe workplace has many benefits including reducing accidents, meeting legal and contractual obligations and avoiding business disruption.
This course will help businesses better manage health and safety and stay up to date with changes in safety legislation.

As a passionate Safety Professional, Mark is driven to make workplaces safer and healthier.
Mark is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Health & Safety and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. He has worked in a variety of safety related roles and has more than 17 years of experience as a Safety Professional.
Mark has extensive management and board experience having held positions of President, Chairman, Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager. He is a Life Member and past President of the Petroleum Club of Western Australia.
Mark specialises in mining, construction, energy and the maritime industry and works across WA both consulting to industry and delivering training solutions. His current and past clients include Fremantle Ports, City of Perth, Small Business Development Corporation, Master Builders, and CCIWA.
Mark delivers a range of workshops from understating the WHS Legislation, investigating accidents, through to safety training for Supervisors and Managers.
