We are all familiar with the situation in which we introduce ourselves or meet someone for the first time. Beyond the exchange of names, the next question is almost always ‘what do you do?’. When we are engaged in building our careers and perhaps undertaking some further education, ‘what we do’ is not usually difficult to articulate. In fact, ‘what we do’ becomes the anchor which defines us to others and provides the cues which people use to build a picture of our professional profiles, successes and achievements.
Who are we and what defines us when we plan to ‘retire’? Even the word ‘retire’ is largely outdated in the 21st century. What will ‘retirement’ look like for you and when should you plan this next phase of your life?
This workshop explores the various aspects of this phenomenon. It will take participants beyond the usual discussion about financial planning which is important but not the focus of this workshop.
The workshop is interactive and practical in nature.
This workshop is ideally for individuals who are 2-5 years from retirement.
