Brand Culture Advisor and Personal Branding for professionals author, speaker and workshop facilitator, Julissa Shrewsbury works with boards, organisations and teams at the level of Brand/Culture connection: She explores the clarity of a brand’s messages to internal and external audiences, and how well the brand is expressed through its people, at every level of the organisation.
In creating cultures of confident personal brands, Julissa’s method involves drawing out people’s key strengths and helping them communicate the value they bring to stakeholders, leading to stronger positioning, connection, confidence and visibility to reach individual and company KPIs. Her workshops cover analysis, strategy planning and skills development for boards, teams and individuals within organisations.
Considered an Australia-wide thought leader in personal branding for professional services, Julissa has presented nationally and globally for INSEAD Business School Alumni, The Singapore Institute of Directors, the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Australian Institute of Management WA, The Tax Institute, CPA Australia, the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Association of Financial Advisers, FINSIA, the Law Society of WA and many more. She has worked with Curtin Business School, UWA, RSM, HLB Mann Judd, StatePlus, Orix ANZ, Independence Group (IGO), Pritchard Francis, WA Farmers, Quantum TX and others. In addition to publishing two books, her articles and commentary have been published in various media and professional journals, including The Australian Financial Review’s BOSS Magazine, Leader Magazine and Brief Magazine.
Julissa is a university-qualified educator with over 20 years’ experience teaching people of all ages and backgrounds. She uses her understanding of education psychology and inclusive education programming to create and deliver exceptional learning and development experiences. Her 10+ years running her own start-ups and working with hundreds of businesses ensures all her strategy and training sessions are practical and implementable.
The first of her family to be born in Australia, Julissa is a proud Argentinian-Australian and explores the subjects of migration and culture in her personal creative projects.
