    Workshop:
Bystander Training for Sexism and Sexual Harassment

    Overview

Sexual Harassment often happens in workplaces where sexism is allowed to thrive. Incidences often have witnesses to them either in person or they are told about it after the fact. When witnesses to this behaviour do nothing a corrosive culture is allowed to thrive where employees are made to feel unsafe. Often these witnesses say they wish they had done something wrong at the time but weren’t sure what to do or how to handle the situation. They wanted to be an active bystander.

Have you equipped yourself and your staff with the skills to fight sexism and sexual harassment?

Are there recent investigations that have found people failed to take action?

Are you ready to change your culture to eliminate sexism and sexual harassment and for your employees to be active bystanders?

    Workshop Outcomes

    • Move from being a passive bystander to an active bystander
    • Implement the 5 step intervention ladder
    • Be able to take steps to normalise action instead of inaction

    Topics Covered

    Who is this workshop for

Organisations who want and need to have a safe workplace environment for all it's employees.

You might have a known problem with sexism in the workplace that needs to change in order for your organisation to be successful.

Or perhaps you have had a recent incident that when investigated found employees hadn't taken action when they had seen something wrong.

What ever the reason that has prompted you to make a culture change you recognise that the behaviours that are accepted are the ones that are normalised and that needs to change to employees taking action when they see something wrong taking place.
